Level Up
Outdoor Steps
One of the best ways to create a visually interesting outdoor living space is to play with changing levels in your design. Multi-level backyards have an added dimension to them and adds more character to your hardscape. There are also many different ways to design outdoor steps and stairs whether you want them to blend with the landscape or stand out as a sculptural feature, even act as furniture for casual extra seating.
Our Collection
At Adam Robinson Design we have used steps to create such dimension. The implementation of levels within a space results in the creation of zones, which can be used as separate spaces with individual purpose.
Below are some of the projects where the ARD team have used steps!
Inspiration
Here are a collection of our favourite designs we’ve collected from Pinterest boards lately and they are in a diverse range of materials from timber, concrete, brick, and sandstone. Raised garden beds, bench seating and sculpting the earth to form mounds and contouring, when combined with complementing steps in innovative materials, can elevate your garden design to great effect.
